Emily Wang, Sophia Wang, 3/16/25

This year, from February 28th to March 2nd, the Endometriosis Foundation of America hosted its 16th annual medical conference. This conference was held in New York and is dedicated to improving awareness, education, and research to fight endometriosis. Inspired by the Beatles, the theme “Your Mother Should Know” highlights the importance of early diagnosis and detection. Over the three days, the conference looked at many scientific breakthroughs in diagnosing and treating endometriosis, heard from patients firsthand, and learning from their experiences.

The founders of this website, Emily and Sophia, attended the conference this year. They attended the patient day on Sunday, March 2nd, and were able to hear the touching stories of those who had endometriosis and the inspiring work scientists were doing to fight the disease. Hopefully, more and more people can attend the conference in the future and help to spread awareness and assist in the fight against this life-altering disease.

Please enjoy some of the pictures of the conference.
